The Get Lucky Event is a Weekly Event you can complete by spinning the wheel in the Get Lucky building. By spending your Get Lucky Chips, or by spinning the Get Lucky wheel with any free spins, you'll be progressing through the Get Lucky Event and earning yourself some Weekly Event rewards.
To improve your chances of completing the event as well as the loot you get from it, you need to take advantage of free Get Lucky spins, improved loot on the Get Lucky wheel, and much more.
Throughout this guide, you'll learn about everything you need to know to complete the Get Lucky Event as often as possible while earning the most loot from it.
However before you read this guide, it's important that you first read and understand the Weekly Events Beginner's Guide. This guide will give you all of the most basic and essential tips you need to know before you look to start completing Weekly Events.
With that out of the way, let's get right into the Get Lucky Event Guide!
Knowing the requirements for the different Get Lucky Event rarities can be a huge help in determining ahead of time whether or not you can complete the event.
Whenever you are approaching a Get Lucky Event that you think you might be able to complete, make sure to refer back to these requirements so you can plan accordingly!
Which Get Lucky Event rarities should you aim to complete?
For the most part, you'll likely only want to focus on completing one Get Lucky Event rarity:
- Rare Get Lucky Event
For a free-to-play player, regularly completing the rare Get Lucky Event is definitely possible.
Every four weeks, you'll have a new rare Get Lucky Event to complete. Throughout the weeks leading up to the event, you'll likely have saved up a total of 200-300 Get Lucky Chips.
Even though the rare Get Lucky Event requires you to do a total of 325 Get Lucky spins, if you have at least 200 Get Lucky Chips you should still be able to complete this fairly easily (we'll discuss how this is possible soon).
Any other rarity is simply too difficult to complete on a regular basis. Of course, if you are a pay-to-play player or if you have managed to save up a ton of Get Lucky Chips over the course of many months - it's a different story.
For most players, the rare Get Lucky Event is what you'll want to focus on regularly completing every time it rolls around.
Even though the tips we're going to discuss are largely focused around allowing players to complete the rare Get Lucky Event regularly, these tips apply to everybody; whether you are a free-to-play player or pay-to-play player.
The first and most important thing about completing the Get Lucky Event is ensuring that you are regularly collecting as many Get Lucky Chips as you possibly can. Without Get Lucky Chips, you can't spin the Get Lucky wheel - meaning you can't complete the Get Lucky Event!
To collect Get Lucky Chips, you should follow the following steps:
- Always purchase discounted Get Lucky Chips in the Marketplace.
- When working on completing the Gem Event, always purchase any discounted and undiscounted Get Lucky Chips from the Marketplace.
- During an active seasonal event, purchase Get Lucky Chips from the seasonal shop if the rare Get Lucky Event is approaching and you are still significantly lacking Get Lucky Chips.
Other than simply playing Mobile Minigames and taking part in your daily activities, these are the most significant ways that you can acquire Get Lucky Chips.
The Marketplace can be a significant source of Get Lucky Chips. As a result, you need to ensure that you are always purchasing Get Lucky Chips when you see them offered at discounted rates, and always purchase them discounted and undiscounted when you are working on completing a Gem Event.
Take a look at the Gem Event Guide for more tips on completing the Gem Event, as well as the Marketplace Guide to learn about different Marketplace related purchase strategies.
The seasonal shop can also offer you a ton of Get Lucky Chips if you manage to save up enough seasonal currencies. If you are low on Get Lucky Chips and the rare Get Lucky Event is fast approaching, then you should definitely pick up some extra Get Lucky Chips from the seasonal shop.
Of course, in addition to purchasing Get Lucky Chips from the seasonal shop and the Marketplace, you will also earn a lot of Get Lucky Chips naturally throughout play.
If you combine all of these tips together, you should find yourself easily saving up enough Get Lucky Chips to regularly complete the Get Lucky Event.
Before you complete the Get Lucky Event, it's important that you do some setup. If you set things up correctly, you will earn a lot more rewards while you end up spending far fewer Get Lucky Chips in the process.
For the Get Lucky Event, you have a lot more stuff to setup than for most other Weekly Events. However, this also means that you have the potential to earn a lot more loot.
Here is how you should prepare for the Get Lucky Event:
- During the week before the Get Lucky Event, equip the Lucky Charm and Luck Bargain passive abilities on your active LuL pet.
- During the week before the Get Lucky Event, equip the Luck of the Draw passive ability on your active KappaPride pet.
- Ensure that your Get Lucky wheel has the most upgraded loot possible.
Pet abilities are some of the best ways to increase your rewards in Mobile Minigames. If you use them wisely, you can progress much further.
Take a look at the Pet Abilities Guide to learn about how pet passive abilities work as well as how to set an active pet.
The Lucky Charm and Luck Bargain passive abilities will improve your rewards from the Get Lucky Event while lowering the cost to complete it. This is necessary if you want to complete the Get Lucky Event while having fewer Get Lucky Chips than the event requires.
Take a look at the LuL Pet Strategies Guide to learn more about the different LuL pet abilities.
In addition to the LuL pet abilities mentioned above, you should also equip the Luck of the Draw passive ability on your active KappaPride pet. This will allow you to get free spins on the Get Lucky wheel, further improving your ability to complete the even with fewer Get Lucky Chips than required.
If you combine the Luck of the Draw ability with 10x spins on the Get Lucky Wheel, you'll likely get a few free spins, earning you millions of Gems worth of free Get Lucky spins.
Not only that, but the Luck of the Draw ability is complete essential to completing the Get Lucky Event in certain circumstances. If you only have around 200-250 Get Lucky Chips, you won't be able to complete the Get Lucky Event without this ability!
Take a look at the KappaPride Pet Strategies Guide to learn more about the different KappaPride pet abilities.
Likely the most important bit of setup needed before working on completing the Get Lucky Event is ensuring that your Get Lucky wheel has the most possible upgraded loot. This means that you need to regularly refresh your Get Lucky wheel, and lock the best possible loot to ensure it stays on the wheel.
Only after you have used all of your free locks and have the best possible loot on the Get Lucky wheel should you attempt to complete a Get Lucky Event. If you complete a Get Lucky Event without having a solid upgraded loot table, you will be missing out on a ton of free loot.
Make sure you take a look at the Get Lucky Guide to learn about the best possible loot to lock on the Get Lucky wheel, and other ways you can improve your loot from this building!
Once you have equipped all of the required abilities on your active pets, and once you have a good upgraded loot table on your Get Lucky wheel, you are good to go forward with completing the Get Lucky Event!
Now that we've taken a look at each component of what it takes to complete the Get Lucky Event, let's put it all together into one clear strategy.
The full Get Lucky Event strategy is as follows:
- Regularly purchase discounted Get Lucky Chips in the Marketplace, and undiscounted Get Lucky Chips when working on completing the Gem Event.
- Purchase extra Get Lucky Chips from the seasonal shop during a seasonal event if you have fewer than 200 Get Lucky Chips and are approaching the next rare Get Lucky Event.
- Regularly refresh the Get Lucky wheel and lock the best loot possible.
- The week before the rare Get Lucky Event approaches, equip the Lucky Charm and Luck Bargain passive abilities on your active LuL pet, and equip the Luck of the Draw passive ability on your active KappaPride pet.
- When working on completing the Get Lucky Event, always use the 10x spin option and regularly use your 3 daily free spins.
That just about sums it up! Even if you only have around 200 Get Lucky Chips, you should be able to easily complete the Get Lucky Event.
If you combine your daily free spins with the free spins from the KappaPride pet ability, the reduced requirements and increased rewards from the LuL pet abilities, and the Get Lucky Chip rewards from the event itself, you can complete the event with well under 325 Get Lucky Chips.
As long as you are following each of these tips and are only spending your Get Lucky Chips when completing the Get Lucky Event, you should easily be able to complete the rare Get Lucky Event regularly as a free-to-play player!
No matter what, it's important that you complete the entire Get Lucky Event instead of just one small portion of it. If you still don't have many Get Lucky Chips after following all of these tips (which is unlikely), wait until the next Get Lucky Event comes around. Completing the entire event is much more important than completing one small part of it.
Whenever you are approaching the next Get Lucky Event, refer back to this guide and prepare yourself to complete it in the most optimal way!
Although this guide could have concluded after the last section, I thought about including an additional section for those who may want to get even more out of the Get Lucky Event.
You can improve your ability to complete the Get Lucky Event as well as the rewards from it in the following ways:
- Get additional locks on the Get Lucky wheel.
- Reduce your 10x Get Lucky spin cost.
Let's take a look at both of these points.
If you have additional locks on the Get Lucky wheel, you improve the loot you'll gain from each spin. While it may not seem like much initially, it really adds up to be quite a bit in the long run.
If you have the money to do so, you should definitely aim to reach VIP 4 for one extra Get Lucky item lock (or VIP 9 for two extra locks).
While this may not be for everybody, the impact on your account progression will be monumental. With two locks, you can potentially double your TriHard Scrolls or Casino Chip loot output from the Get Lucky wheel. This will make a huge impact in the long run!
In addition to the bonus loot that additional locks brings, reducing your 10x spin cost is also extremely important. For example, if you have your 10x spin cost reduced to 8 Get Lucky Chips, then you will save a ton of Get Lucky Chips, allowing you to complete the Get Lucky Event even more often.
Once again, if you have the money to do so, you should definitely aim to reach VIP 6 for your 10x Get Lucky spin cost to be reduced from 10 Get Lucky Chips to 8 Get Lucky Chips.
Both of these improvements can make a huge difference if you are a hardcore player, but they are of course optional. Most players won't choose to do this and that's perfectly okay - as long as you are following the rest of the tips outlined in this guide!
However if you are interested in improving your loot from the Get Lucky Event, take a look at the Pay-To-Play Guide to learn about some of the best purchases you can make to earn you these additional VIP levels.
