In Mobile Minigames, every month is considered a new season. For example, when the game is first released, the season will be season 1. On the very first day of the next month, at 12AM GMT, the season will change to season 2.
With each season change, a ton of extremely important changes will be applied to the game.
Overall, some of the most important changes are the following:
- Streamer skins are updated to reflect the new season number
- Every player's Arena rank is reset back to bronze
- Every player's progress in the Seasonal Challenge is reset, and can be completed again
In addition to these changes, any heroes on the Blockchain with skins of previous seasons will become increasingly more valuable.
Due to the significance of some of these changes, it's very important that you are aware of the seasons and when they are ending. Otherwise, you could miss out on quite a few opportunities - and nobody wants that!
Throughout the rest of this guide, we're going to discuss each of these changes in depth, so you know exactly what you need to do to prepare for the season changes.
Every month, streamers and content creators who meet certain minimum requirements can upload skins to Gaming for Good. These skins can be collected by other players in Mobile Minigames, much like the default faces that can be uploaded in-game.
The get your own custom skins uploaded to Mobile Minigames, you need to satisfy one of the following conditions:
- On Twitch, be a Twitch Affiliate or Twitch Partner
- On YouTube, have at least 1,000 subscribers
- On Facebook, have at least 1,000 likes on your page
If you satisfy one of these conditions, you can have your own custom skins uploaded to Gaming for Good. On each of these skins, you can set the requirements that players need to fulfill to be able to get them.
For example, if you are a Twitch Partner, you can make it so that players need to subscribe to your Twitch channel to get a certain skin.
Players who get your skins can then use them in-game. They can trade your skins on the Auction House; they can put them on heroes, battle with them, export them to the Blockchain, and much more!
Now that we've covered the basics of how skins work, how does this topic relate to the season changes?
Essentially, when streamers and content creators upload skins, they are uploading skins for that specific season. When the season changes, the skins of the new season will replace the skins of the previous season!
This means that if you have collected the skins of any streamers or content creators and have them equipped on your heroes, those skins will instantly be replaced with the new skins when the season changes.
The rare, epic, and legendary skins of the previous season will be updated and become the rare, epic, and legendary skins of the new season. This helps to create a very diverse experience in Mobile Minigames, where each month will feel quite new and fresh!
The fact that the skins change isn't all that big of a deal though. Sure, it makes things feel more fresh and unique, but that's hardly something to go crazy over. Where things get really crazy is with the Blockchain.
So, what's going on with the Blockchain and how does it relate to custom skins and the season changes?
We already discussed custom skins have the potential to change each month. If any streamers and content creators have skins uploaded and set for the upcoming season, those new skins will replace the old skins.
However, if you have any heroes uploaded to the Blockchain, their skins will not be replaced!
This means that it is entirely possible to keep the season 1 skins for a certain streamer or content creator.
Take a look at the following scenario:
- During season 1, you subscribe to a Twitch streamer and get their subscription skin.
- You then equip that skin onto one of your heroes, and export that hero to the Blockchain.
- When season 2 starts, you will still have a hero on the Blockchain with that same season 1 skin equipped - it will not change to the new season 2 skin!
Hopefully this example demonstrates the power and the importance of exporting to the Blockchain.
By exporting heroes with certain skins, you are essentially immortalizing those skins and creating an extremely rare commodity that can potentially be worth a ton of money in the future.

If potentially earning money playing Mobile Minigames interests you, then you definitely need to make sure you pay attention to the season changes. For every season that goes by, heroes with skins from early seasons will become increasingly more valuable.
After many months of playing the game, you may be able to sell your Blockchain heroes for a decent amount of DUBI.

Earning money with your heroes is a real possibility in Mobile Minigames. If this is an interesting prospect, then you need to be sure to export heroes and ensure you are grabbing skins from different streamers or content creators on a monthly basis.
If you export a hero to the Blockchain before the season ends, the hero will have preserved the skin from the previous season. This is why it is extremely important to be aware of when the season changes!
Export your heroes before the season ends, and you will hopefully be able to earn money from them down the road.
Of course, potentially earning money from the Blockchain is a lot more complicated than exporting a hero and hoping from the best. You need to be very with the whole process, which is why it's extremely important that you read the Selling Heroes Guide as well as any other related guides in the Blockchain section.
The Arena is a great place to earn loot. Every month, you progress as far as you can and reach as high of a rank as possible.
When the new season starts, you are given rewards for the rank you received in the previous season, and your rank is reset back to bronze.
For example, if you managed to reach challenger rank in the Mega League, you will be rewarded with several Kappa Scrolls, in addition to hundreds of thousands of Gems. These rewards will appear in your mailbox right when the new season starts.
This Arena reset gives every player a huge opportunity to collect a ton of loot right at the start of each month. If you manage to climb from bronze to diamond, you can expect to get at least 20 level 7 chests. With a few chest multipliers, you can earn a ridiculous amount of loot.
Before the season change, with regards to the Arena, you need to ensure that you do the following:
- Progress as far as possible in the Arena using all free daily battles
This will get you to your highest possible rank, while saving you from the need to spend Gems to progress. The further you are in the Arena, the more rewards you will gain when the next season starts.
The Seasonal Challenge is one of the most important mechanics in Mobile Minigames.
If you have the Seasonal Gold Pass and are actively completing the Seasonal Challenge, you will be earning hundreds of dollars of progression on a regular basis. All of this progression comes in the form of sale points, Kappa Scrolls, and extremely powerful heroes.
If you want to learn more about the Seasonal Challenge, sale points, and the Seasonal Gold Pass, check out the Pay-To-Play Guide.
So, how is this relevant to the season reset?
Essentially, every month when the season resets, the Seasonal Challenge is reset as well.
This means that at the start of each month, you have a new opportunity to complete the Seasonal Challenge. You can collect all of the sale points, Kappa Scrolls, and heroes all over again.
Usually, this is great news since all of this loot has a huge impact on your account progression. However, if you aren't paying attention to when the season changes, you can miss out on a ton of loot or waste money on the Seasonal Gold Pass.
With the Seasonal Challenge, you should consider the following:
- Ensure you are regularly completing Weekly Events and earning achievements to maximize Legendary Stars gained
- Ensure you don't purchase the Seasonal Gold Pass near the end of the month if you weren't able to progress very far in the Seasonal Challenge
If you manage to complete the entire Seasonal Challenge, the boost towards your account progression can be absolutely huge - even better if you also purchase the Seasonal Gold Pass.
However, you need to ensure you are actually completing the entire thing! The loot you gain from the final milestone of the Seasonal Challenge is a 9-star level 9 hero, which is extremely valuable.
If you really have not progressed far in the Seasonal Challenge, be sure to take a look at the amount of time left until the next season!
You really don't want to purchase the Seasonal Gold Pass when there may only be a few days left of the Seasonal Challenge and you have only managed to grab a couple hundred Legendary Stars.
This is a good example of why you need to pay attention to when the season ends. You don't want any of your money spent in the game going to waste, and it will be if you purchase the Seasonal Gold Pass with the Seasonal Challenge ending soon, while not yet having progressed very far.
